Kevin Bretz

Executive Director, Environmental, Health & Safety, and Sustainability

Kevin Bretz is the Executive Director of Environment, Health & Safety, and Sustainability for our organization. His responsibility includes the development, optimization, and implementation of effective and sustainable EHS&S programs, and establishing the organization’s short- and long-term EHS&S goals and priorities. Kevin is also responsible for the execution of the people security and business resiliency programs. 

Since joining Holcim U.S. in 2012, Kevin has held leadership roles of increasing responsibility across key business lines, including ready-mix concrete, aggregates and cement, and most recently building products in 2021.

Kevin has over 10 years of experience in the construction materials industry within the Holcim Group, focusing on EHS&S, land matters, and public and government affairs. Before Holcim, Kevin specialized in process engineering, process safety management, and management systems.  

He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer.
