Viracon

Viracon Statesboro, GA Viracon, an architectural glass fabricator, needed to replace the leaky roof on their 395,000 square foot production facility in Statesboro, GA. Peyton Zeigler, Director of Engineering and Maintenance for Viracon, explored multiple thermoplastic options and manufacturers and decided to select the complete UltraPly™ TPO system, daylighting and warranty coverage package that only Elevate could provide. The project began in May 2012 and was completed on time in October. With All-Top Roofing’s installation of Elevate UltraPly™ TPO Platinum™ Membrane and ISO 95+™ GL Insulation, Viracon was able to raise their R-Value significantly and keep their roofing system covered under a Red Shield Platinum™ Warranty for 30 years. Viracon also chose to have 86 Firestone SunWave™ Daylighting Units installed on the Statesboro manufacturing facility creating a significantly brighter warehouse facility. Ziegler reported that the SunWave Daylighting System was well received by upper management and additional units may be ordered for the Statesboro Facility in the near future. Viracon will also look to Elevate for future facility expansions.
