Elevate opens first European insulation facility in Germany

Holcim Solutions and Products, a subsidiary of Holcim Group, announced on Monday 6 May the opening of its first greenfield plant in Heinsberg, Germany. The facility, which broke ground in March 2017, employs a workforce of approximately twenty and is located in the Dremmen District of Heinsberg.  

The new facility represents an opportunity to supplement Elevate insulation production in North America in order to meet growing demand for complete roofing solutions in a global market. Elevate currently operates fifteen manufacturing plants worldwide and sells approximately 90 million square meters of insulation materials per year all over the world.
