Elevate GeoGard EPDM supplied lining for Alpentherme Gastein
Holcim has provided nearly 5,800m² of the Elevate GeoGard EPDM 1.5mm lining membrane for the construction of Alpentherme Gastein in Austria.

Alpentherme Gastein is a luxurious health and leisure spa in the alpine mountains that created 2 unique swimming lakes. The installation was done in only 6 days. The ponds have each 5 meters depth are both are filled with about 4,700 m³ of warm and pure thermal water that is kept clean by a biological filtration system. The thermal water combined with the black liner gives the water a nice blue shimmer.
The bigger pond combines shallow areas for leisure and wide areas for swimmers and stand-up paddlers. The smaller pond is made for sauna lovers that like jumping into pure water between 2 sessions.
