At Elevate, sustainability isn’t an add-on—it’s built into everything we do from our products to our manufacturing processes. Our roofing systems are designed to help reduce environmental impact while contributing to green building certifications, as well as meeting stringent state/provincial and federal requirements.
Going Beyond the Standard with Plant-Specific EPDs
Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) are a key requirement in many green building certification programs like LEED®, Green Globes®, and the Living Building Challenge®, as well as state/provincial and federal projects. While many manufacturers rely on industry EPDs, Elevate produces detailed, plant-specific EPDs for our roofing systems. This means more precise, transparent environmental data—helping your project qualify for more certification points and meet stricter regulatory requirements.
Cool Roof Membranes
Elevate offers highly reflective roofing membranes to support cool roof initiatives, helping to lower building energy use, reduce the urban heat island effect, and improve indoor comfort and temperature regulation. Many of our reflective roofing options qualify for LEED credits with the U.S. Green Building Council, Canada Green Building Council, and also meet California Title 24 Energy Efficiency Building Standards.
Recyclable Roofing Materials & Waste Reduction Initiatives
Many of our roofing membranes, metal roofing systems and components, and system accessories are recyclable at the end of their life cycle. We also actively support recycling initiatives to reduce construction waste and support circular building practices.
