New 25-Year Warranty Options For RubberGard™ EPDM Systems

Elevate is pleased to announce that select RubberGard™ EPDM membrane systems are now eligible for up to a 25-year Red Shield™ Warranty.1  Eligible membranes and applications include:

• 60-mil (Min.) LSFR RubberGard EPDM (Adhered, MAS, and Ballasted)2
• 60-mil (Min.) RubberGard MAX EPDM (Adhered, MAS, and Ballasted)
• 60-mil (Min.) RubberGard EcoWhite™ EPDM (Adhered)

To support these expanded warranty options, most RubberGard installation details previously limited to 20 years now reflect the new maximum 25-year warranty term. 

There are no additional installation requirements for 25-year warranty terms, however, it’s important that all installations continue to follow Elevate base tie-in details, including application of an approved Elevate primer on the QuickSeam Reinforced Perimeter Fastening Strip. Please note, any project not installed per Elevate’s requirements will automatically require reinspection. Elevate Field Technical Representatives may require cutting open the base tie-in during final inspections to ensure compliance with Elevate requirements.  Please see the table below for a complete list of changes to EPDM details.
